21. Facebook – Facebook swap shops are great for selling things locally. It’s like CraigsList, but a little easier. You simply search for swap shops in your area and ask to join the group. Once you’re in, take a picture of the item, write a quick description with the price and post it. It doesn’t get much easier than that. You can generally expect to get about what you would get at a yard sale, maybe a little more.
Do you see all of those articles, tutorials and guides all over the Internet? Somebody wrote every one of them! If you have decent writing ability (no, you don’t need a journalism degree!), and knowledge in a few specific topic areas, you can be one of those writers. It’s an opportunity to make money online and without ever leaving your home. It’s also the kind of venture that can start out as a small side business, but grow into a full-time career.

Each of the platforms are different in how you get paid, when you get paid and what you get paid for. But most typically pay out a full calendar month after the current month. For instance, if you earned $1000 in August, you would typically be paid out during the first week of October. But some pay on the 1st and 15th or later in the month. The most important thing for beginners is to just get started. Once you start getting results then you can begin planning out your months in order to reach your financial goals. Like if you wanted to reach a certain income goal by March, well you really need to be hustling hard in January because March is going to be the payout month of January’s efforts and activity.


If you don’t know what to make your first website about, a fun first project could be building a website for your new side business: freelancing websites for others. After all, once you’re done with the first four lessons, you’ll be qualified to build fairly basic, but professional looking websites. Then you can start charging people $500 per website to make yourself some extra money! When I first learned how to make a website with WordPress, I used to post my services on Craigslist daily, and I would get at least two to three gigs per month. You can simply make your website YourName.com or YourNameWebsiteCreationServices.com. If you decide to go this route, here is some freelancing advice to help you get started. :)

A much better approach is to create a separate, creative and engaging subject line for each newsletter you send. Questions and personalized subject lines for example, can work well, and most email clients will allow you to add the name or company of the recipient in the subject so that it is addressed directly to each one. Controversial, one-sided, or subject lines that take you directly down to the “pain point” of the reader such as “10 Ways to Make Your Cat Obedient” are the best. Now, wouldn’t you open that?

At this point, you will need to write down your learning goals and objectives. Learning goals are the general statements that you create and define what your course is all about and what it can do for your students. Note: Most keywords will NOT qualify. Thorough keyword research is a long and difficult process, but finding high paying and easily rankable keywords in the beginning will make the entire rest of the process that much easier. Don’t give up, even when it seems like there are very few valuable, rankable keywords out there – there are LITERALLY millions!
5. Fiverr – Fiverr is a great place to make a few bucks or spend a few bucks if you need some of the services people offer. Basically, everything is $5. You either pay $5 or charge $5. They call them “gigs.” You can offer your services however you choose. If you sell art and you’re fine selling pieces for $5 each, that’s a gig. If you’re a graphic designer and you want to offer your services for $10/hour, simply offer a 30 minute gig. If they need two hours of graphic design, they pay you $20, or $10/hour by buying four gigs.

My tip: Have one main credit card. Become an Amazon Associate and then use Keyword planner to find an in-demand niche: With more than a million different products to choose from and up to 10% commission the sales you drive, Amazon’s affiliate program is a great place to get started. Browse their available products and see what connects with you. Or take it a step further and use Google’s Keyword Planner to quickly check how many people are searching for a specific term. With affiliate marketing, the more relevant traffic you can pull in, the more you’ll make off your site.
I absolutely LOVE your blog. I found it while I was researching to write something on my own blog! I’ve only been with Wealthy Affiliate a little over a month – but there is a long story there. I found WA in 2013 and never did anything with it. I returned mid-March 2018 and I have been learning so much and improving the blogs I have that were struggling as well as building a brand new blog with help from the Wealthy Affiliate courses.
There’s no rule that you have to stick with one course. If there are other courses you can teach related to your initial course, create those. You can then refer your students to these other courses. For example, if you offer a course on how to write a mystery, you can add a course on how to publish a book and/or how to market a book. You can also create new courses in completely different areas.
Just be sure to put a lot of care into your product listings. Everything from the titles you use, to how effective the description is at convincing potential buyers your product is better than the rest, and even taking care to shoot high quality product photos can have a dramatic impact on your sales. I recommend using photo editing tools like Fotor, which gives you the ability to edit your images, create captivating graphic designs and more.
There’s an excellent chance that you have one or several musical instruments sitting in storage that haven’t been used in years. Perhaps it’s a leftover from when you were in school, or even from your days playing in a band. Whatever the reason that you have it, it’s probably worth money if you can sell it. Brand-new instruments are ridiculously expensive, so people often look to buy used equipment instead, particularly if they are novices.

That’s my problem. I have been doing SEO and digital marketing for great brands for the last 8 years (with really good results), but there is always that thought- “I could be better!” “There are so many reputable experts”. “Am I good enough?” I hate the doubt so much! It’s good to know that I am not alone in this thinking, so I have to change that! And then no 5. I think it is also about the fact that we like to be guided. Free information out there can be a bit overwhelming and chaotic, whilst a designed and nicely structured course is easier to digest!
