Hi Dara, that’s a great question. I started with 2 affiliates sites at the same time, this one and another in the leadership niche each promoting different training courses I thought were worthwhile. I worked solidly for a year before I reached the $1,000 per month mark and then a couple of hours a day (admittedly with a few gaps) and reached $6,000 after 3 years.
Create a community: When it comes to online learning, people want to feel as close as and relate to each other since they can’t meet physically due to geographical boundaries. A community-based learning environment though, is always welcomed by students. The community should be the place where they go to share their inquiries and exchange their ideas.
Note: This is a very simplistic method of doing competition analysis (there is much more that can be analyzed). So why are we doing it this way instead of in a more in-depth method? Mainly because we are doing a “blanket” approach, where we will put out lots of websites with lots of posts, and then let our traffic results guide the rest of the action plan (through what Google Adsense and Google Analytics tells us about our traffic).
If you get stuck at any point along the way or have any questions, use Google or your own experimenting to figure out a solution. This will help you out a lot more than simply getting an answer from me and will help you develop the most important skill for any entrepreneur: problem solving. Every single problem you will encounter has been encountered by lots of people before you and there will be documentation online on how to solve it (plus additional information so you fully understand why the solution works). My background is in Finance and I had never built a website until after I graduated from college; everything I've learned I've learned through Google. Use it to your advantage!
Signing up with Google AdSense will enable you to make money from advertising on your blog. Google AdSense will place relevant ads around your site, and if your site visitors click on these ads, you will earn a fee. Although each click only amounts to small change, if your blog has high levels of traffic and lots of page views this will quickly amount to a reasonable sum.
It's important to keep in mind that participants don't "qualify" for all surveys. Market researchers often want opinions from users who match specific demographics or who are in-market for particular products and services. If you attempt a survey that you ultimately don't qualify for, Swagbucks will give you at least one point in its rewards program. You know what they say: "A penny for your thoughts".
Creating and selling courses could be more than just an online business you started one or two years ago. In fact, years from now, if you are committed to it and truly believe that you can make a strong impact through teaching your favorite subject, you could be the next Chris Anderson – the curator of TED (Technology, Education, Design) conferences, in the eyes of future generations!
If you just want to make a few hundred dollars by doing little work then go for the Fiverr and GPT programs. These are recommended for those who are disparate to make quick bucks without much efforts. However there is no potential in it and you can not make thousands every month. Although exceptions are possible but overall these are the short cut ways to make a few dollars online.

To get inspiration for the modules, I would jump on Twitter any time I saw a conversation about Scrivener. Through Twitter, I connected with people who used the program and could provide valuable insights. I even found people to test the beta version of my course through Twitter, and this was also a great way to figure out how much people would pay.
Absolutely, whilst you don’t have to be working like a slave horse for peanuts for the next 3 years (lol), it will take a few months of consistent effort to see a consistent income. I made my first commission after 2 weeks (Only $1 but I was ecstatic!) and by the 6 months’ mark it was a steady stream. At 12 months I quit my job and headed for warmer climates never to look back.
Don't sacrifice morals for a quick buck — At the outset, you'll want to do all sorts of things to make money online, but don't sacrifice your morals for a quick buck. Not only will you put people off, but you'll lose Google's trust. You also shouldn't concern yourself with things like Adsense or other ads on a blog before you have around 100,000 visitors per day. Yes, per day.
Creating and selling courses on your blog can be a successful way to make money online. The course itself should be relevant to your blog, and based on a topic that will benefit your audience. Although it may take time to create the course in the first instance, once completed, you can then repeatedly make money from the course each time you sell it.
Your review of internet jetset was very intriguing. I have also wanted to make money online thru affiliate marketing, and for you, who may want to scale, it’s always a good idea to learn more. It didn’t sound like the site offered much additional value in comparison to Wealthy Affiliate (your most recommended affiliate marketing training). Can you give more of a comparison for a person whose taken training thru WA? Is Internet Jetset still valuable for continuing education even after you’ve taken training with WA? I love learning so even though I agree that WA is the best training I’ve taken on online marketing, I still forecast other trainings, and I’d love to know if this should stay in my radar.
Also, you have the option to time-limit your coupons and create multiple with the same offer and a different name or occasion e.g. 10% discount for current students and 10% discount for the audience of a blogger/influencer. You can even create super discounts e.g. 90% for the next 24 hours or free courses (100% discount) to collect new leads that will pay for their next course!
Mechanical Turk is Amazon's take on micro-jobs. These are small miniscule-jobs that you can do for other people, which they call HITs, or Human Intelligence Tasks. These are super simple tasks that anyone can do. Some examples are listing off some URLs with certain kinds of images for one cent, or recording a few phrases with a microphone for 6 cents.
