Of course, if you’re already creating content for a blog, coaching service, or a site like Medium, you can test demand this way for free just like Bryan did.

It might seem like not the most lucrative option, but the top taskers reportedly earn as much as $7000 a month, making this a full-time way to make money online for some.


6. IZEA – IZEA works in addition to a blog or on its own. You get paid to blog, tweet, take photos and take videos. The pay is mostly based on your following, so if you want to make money with your tweets, you’ll need to grow you Twitter following.  Likewise, if you want to make money with blogs, you’ll need substantial blog traffic (more on blogging below).
1) It takes time and patience. When building out your website it’s going to take 6 months before you see real Google rankings and a breakthrough in traffic and sales. For the vast majority, they’re not willing to wait this long. You can also incentivize them in some way in exchange for a review, like sending them a content upgrade or free report, video or interview. That’s really all I’ve ever done. Keep it simple.

Join a startup accelerator: Another great option is to apply to a startup accelerator like Y Combinator, 500 startups, or TechStars, where a group of investors will help coach you, connect you with potential partners, and provide startup cash in return for a small stake in your company. I do have a question that is related to your previous post as well. As we learned earlier, testimonials are extremely important. But how to launch a brand new (first) online course when I have zero testimonials? Is this something I should not worry about and just reach out to the first buyers for instance? Or just give my course for free to some people and ask an honest testimonial for return and then launch the course?

Consistency is more important than anything else when it comes to youtube. The challenge is for most people just starting out they’re not too much of an expert on anything so you’ll have more difficult time coming up with content ideas. Also what if you don’t wanna be on camera? Do you need youtube to succeed online? No you do not, John is just showing you all the different ways to earn affiliate commission. Just know that making 10 videos will not be enough, you need to really work at it for at least 6 months to a year before you’ll start to see some traction. Not to mention other intangibles like having some sort of charisma on camera.
If you can find and restore items like furniture and appliances, you can make a substantial amount of money. You can acquire the items on Craigslist, or even at garage sales or estate sales, restore them, and then list them for sale on the site. You may also be able to market certain items on eBay, particularly if they are small, unusual, but high in price.

They charge relatively low commission fees for the privilege of connecting you with merchants, and the merchants on these sites tend to offer much higher commission percentages or set dollar amount payouts.
A website called AchieveMint gives you points for engaging in healthy activities, like exercise, tracking your eating habits, or even taking health related surveys. Points can be redeemed either for cash (10,000 points are worth $10) or for Amazon Gift Cards. The app actually connects with other health apps, like Fitbit and MyFitnessPal, to track your progress.
