The third mistake I made was creating and promoting content during the launch that didn’t directly relate to the course. I published a YouTube video that was about creating a money mindset and sent it to my list during my launch. I shouldn’t have done this because it caused people to have a reason to go somewhere else and look at that content instead of at the course.
A popular tactic to make money on social media is to pay for advertising affiliate products. Create ads for particular affiliate products that are big sellers and have a high yield. Then target these ads at specific custom audiences to ensure your ads are viewed by those who will have an interest in the product you are promoting. If viewers click through your from advert to the product page and make a purchase then you will earn an affiliate fee.
To help organize your course, think in terms of modules and lessons. A module would be the overall subtopic, with the lessons providing the details of that subject. For example, if you have a course on starting a home business, you might have a module on business plans. Your lessons in that module would include “How to determine your USP” and “How to identify your target market.”
Build up a following on your Instagram account and you could quickly be making extra money online. Major brands, gear companies, and even startups are willing to shell out $500-$5,000+ per post to get in front of your audience. While it’s getting harder and harder to build a massive Instagram audience, if you already have a solid niche and are posting quality content regularly with a great camera for taking Instagram photos, with a few small tweaks you can make yourself an influencer. Check out this awesome article from Shopify on how to build and grow your Instagram following to get started.
Regarding the business I teach, as long as you follow through with the directions in my website / videos, not only will you start to generate some income, you'll learn A TON about how to build and run an online business. And because there are hardly any overhead expenses, there really is nothing to lose. There are very few businesses that are this inexpensive to start in that offer such high potential (the amount of money that can made online is virtually limitless once you get good). I recommend you give it your all, learn everything you can, and try to do some of your own experimenting as well. Try and think how you can take everything you are learning to build something even bigger than what I teach (be creative). That's the best way to approach this business.
As for Clickbank, I’ve never really trusted them 100% with refunds anyway. Sometimes they’ll refund you and sometimes they won’t. I once had an issue with a dodgy program called ‘Founder Fly’ I purchased through Clickbank – I canceled the membership, but Clickbank still charged me the monthly fee. By the time I noticed the payments missing from my account 3 months later, I requested a refund from CB but they refused.
Daily Surveys can be taken one or more times per day. This is indicated in the survey description. Other targeted surveys can be taken as you see them. Be sure to complete these when you see them. Some surveys may accept a limited number of responses from people matching your demographics, and can sometimes disappear quickly. New surveys come out all the time too!
As far as the return policy goes, I have never asked for a refund so I can’t give an honest assessment of that process. I did, however, cancel my “recurring” membership months ago without any problems at all. I went back in my emails to see if I had contacted John directly about it but it looks like I just went through Clickbank. I’d be interested to hear how it turns out now that you’ve gone directly to them. I’ve never had any issues with Clickbank.
John Crestani’s Internet Jetset and Super Affiliate System may not be the most comprehensive online marketing program you can buy, but for the price, you are getting some of the best training out there. With the fast money, fast cars intro video, I thought this had to be a scam. Instead, it turned out to be a unique blend of beginner tutorials and advanced strategy not found in most programs. It might not be your one-stop shop, but for those serious about making money online, Internet Jetset could be your secret weapon.
Apart from these social platforms, you can also use Quora, Reddit, and other online forums to raise awareness about your online school and courses. For example, you can post a question on Quora or answer a question and propose a solution to others. Alternatively, you can start a conversation with other people interested in products or services in your own niche.
I can say that the Internet Jetset course itself is not a scam as it has decent content and information to be learnt by beginners. However, the “system” is not really a system. It’s pretty weak as it offers no tools for beginners to use and start building their online business. What John offers is a list of links to external websites and software. Some of the links are even naked affiliate links without any guidance.
A spin-off for web designers is to offer a landing page creation service. Well-optimized landing pages can be the difference between a successful and a failing business. And, as creating the perfect landing page isn’t easy, this is a service many businesses are prepared to pay for. I know people who are earning 6 figures per year and all they do is create landing pages for businesses. There’s serious money to be made.
