I do have a question that is related to your previous post as well. As we learned earlier, testimonials are extremely important. But how to launch a brand new (first) online course when I have zero testimonials? Is this something I should not worry about and just reach out to the first buyers for instance? Or just give my course for free to some people and ask an honest testimonial for return and then launch the course?

The third mistake I made was creating and promoting content during the launch that didn’t directly relate to the course. I published a YouTube video that was about creating a money mindset and sent it to my list during my launch. I shouldn’t have done this because it caused people to have a reason to go somewhere else and look at that content instead of at the course.
The second mistake worth mentioning is that my email list includes a lot of people who followed me when I wrote more about budgeting, so the match wasn’t 100% aligned. I’ve asked people to unsubscribe who aren’t into the new “design your dream life” theme of my blog, but many still remain. I am guessing using the Facebook boost feature would help bring in the first couple of likes and have the potential make a post go viral but that’s not free traffic and not taught in this module. John says in this module that he’s going to share the “information that’s going to help you get to the next level, that’s going to help you become a super affiliate” which I find hard to believe after digesting what he taught in JetSet but maybe that’s something he wants you to learn in Super Affiliate System.

A company will pay you to publish an article about it. It’s similar with other paid posts as well. Your basically selling the spot for the article on your site. If you decide to take this route, you’ll want to build your traffic before you will get many offers.

We’ve definitely had different experiences though. The information inside the Internet Jetset course is really good, and unless we’re talking about something different, it’s only $47 (which isn’t unreasonable for what you’re getting). I did mention in my review though that I wouldn’t recommend it as your only source of information for building an online business.

Join a startup accelerator: Another great option is to apply to a startup accelerator like Y Combinator, 500 startups, or TechStars, where a group of investors will help coach you, connect you with potential partners, and provide startup cash in return for a small stake in your company. The competition is tough to get into these, so don’t rely on them as your only path forward.
